Sighs of Frost

This story is dedicated to those who once roamed the world of Jianghu in its golden age, and to the heroes who still wander and make their way through the world of Jian Wang 3.

Every ID appearing in this story belongs to a real hero from Jian Wang 3's Electric Eight server.

The snow of Chunyang Palace bid farewell to the Jianghu journey of the young hero Xuan Shuang.

He had meant to wield his sword to defend the land, but first he met a Miao girl who kept clamoring to take him as her apprentice, a drunken Beggar's Sect woman who clung to him and demanded "a kiss," and a young woman with a violet mist in her eyes who softly said, "I only want to save people."

The Jianghu is vast, but people's hearts are small.

From Chang'an to Junshan, from the Haoyiqi Alliance to Cangshan and Erhai, he thought he could protect those around him, only to discover that in troubled times, everyone was a floating leaf in the torrent.

When a trusted disciple brings catastrophe, when the sword meant to protect the land points at a former friend, when the sea of flowers in Wan Hua Valley is soaked in blood...

The sword meant to defend the land ultimately cannot save one person's life.

At last, Xuan Shuang understands that he cannot see through this Jianghu, nor can he deliver it from its troubles.

Better to go home, better to go home...

But can the heavy snow beneath the Cliff of Reflection that year cover all the promises and sighs left unspoken?

This body has already broken its pledge to the Jianghu; only the wind and snow remain as they were.

Theme: In a Jianghu where no one is master of their own fate, asking whether loyalty and justice can serve both friendship and all living beings.
