Lin Meimei Catches Ghosts While Crying

The ghosts across the city all agree: the scariest NPC in the escape rooms is the art-school genius Lin Daiyu, who chases ghosts while crying.

Lin Ruoruo is a level-ten crybaby. She walked into a haunted house and scared the real ghosts so badly that the System crashed.

Her father runs a funeral home, her mother does makeup for the dead, and even her impossibly macho older brother is a cop who specializes in paranormal cases. This family would count as hardcore insiders even in the underworld.

Then she met Ren Weimian, a ghost writer who had no interest in scaring anyone and just wanted help.
