[JX3] Our IRL Meetup Failed, and My Master and I Became NPCs

Ye Zhenzhen is an esports streamer, a brutal healer playing the Five Poisons sect in Jian Wang 3, with the ID Qu Zhenzhen.

Tao Yanxi is a history teacher and a top player of the Poison Sutra specialization on the same server, with the ID Du Buyan.

Their in-game teacher-and-disciple relationship turned into an offline meetup, which ended in a literal crash.

The good news: They survived.

The bad news: What came next was even more absurd than death.

When they woke up, they had become the most ridiculous NPCs in the game world:

She was the Holy Maiden of the Five Poisons sect, with a [World Bug] tag over her head. The System urged her to end her own life every day.

He was an undercover elder of the Tianyi Sect, charged with the mission [Historical Variable]. The plot demanded that he stay alive.

From then on, the whole server watched the most competitive “mortal enemies” routine in history:

At Black Dragon Marsh in the JJC, she pinned him down and mocked him in public chat: “If you're bad, practice more.”

A private message popped up immediately: “Master, the third cave to the southeast has the scorpion venom you need.”

During the battle for Candle Dragon Hall, he led a team that razed her stronghold. In world chat, he wrote: “You let us win.”

In a private message: “Zhenzhen, behind you on the left. That Tangmen is lining up a shot.”

Then, during the final battle, the System presented them with a choice:

He stepped in front of her, swallowed all the Heart-Eating Gu, and smiled like a villain. “Disciple, your master's on his last cooldown. I'll get you through this.”

She burned up her holy gu and flipped off the empty air. “System, does dying together as a duo count as a hidden achievement?”

Theme: The highest form of protection is becoming your nemesis.
