The Thirteen Members of the Qi Family Didn't Die Unjustly

The sharp-tongued author Qi Jinghong wrote a wish-fulfillment novel, The Marquis's Spoiled Beloved Wife. The heroine climbed over her siblings to rise to power, while the cannon-fodder concubine-born younger sister died miserably in the ancestral shrine.

A mysterious reader with the username Meng Po chased her down to curse her: "Qi Changwei keeps crying to Meng Po about being wronged."

"If you're Meng Po, then I'm Qi Changwei."

"Fine. I'll grant your wish."

The next second, she became Qi Changwei, the very woman being framed and about to die a miserable death.

A golden finger?

Yes.

One hundred chances to change keywords.

But there's a catch: it doesn't work on the original heroine.

The chosen one cannot be shaken.

Whenever she dies, time rewinds to the day she was falsely accused of poisoning someone.

On her eighth try, she completely lost her mind.

Standing on a round table with a wine jar in hand, she had all thirteen members of the Qi family kneeling before her.

"Do you believe me?"

"We believe you, we believe you!"

"Believe in me, and you will gain eternal life!"

"Eternal life! Eternal life!"

Later, the original story played out all the same. The heroine still married the marquis, and her childhood friend was still cast aside.

But the cannon-fodder supporting character survived to the end.

She even left these words on the wall of the ancestral shrine: "Qi Jinghong was here. I didn't deserve to die."

When she opened her eyes again, she was still sitting in front of her computer.

But this time, instead of arguing with online readers, she wrote an alternate storyline for that cannon-fodder supporting character.

The original story's ending stays the same. She only saves the cannon fodder herself.

Is everyone a villain? No, they just sincerely support the heroine.

Moral: Every supporting character deserves a storyline of their own.
