Three Kingdoms: The Sleeping Dragon's Double, Helping Cao Cao Pacify the World

After transmigrating into the body of Zhuge Liang's page, he was kicked right back home by Kongming as soon as he arrived. Chased by starving refugees outside Xinye, he ran into the woods with a hiking pack on his back and collided head-on with Cao Cao and Xu Chu. Xu Chu held a blade to his neck. "Who are you?"

Zhuge Yi straightened up. "Xinye City is a tomb Liu Bei has prepared for you. If you go in tonight, all twenty thousand of your vanguard will perish in a sea of flames." Cao Cao sent someone to order Cao Ren to withdraw. Cao Ren pried up the dry grass beneath the city gate. There was fire oil underneath, and he broke into a cold sweat.

Desperate for worthy talent, Cao Cao said, "I'll give you the post of army aide." Zhuge Yi waved him off. "I'll manage provisions in the supply camp." Xu Chu glared. "What kind of strategist goes off to manage the food?" Zhuge Yi grinned. "The one who manages the food lives longer." Cao Cao watched him walk away, then said to Xu Chu, "This man is either a prodigy or the greatest variable of all." In the direction of Changban Slope, Liu Bei was fleeing south with more than a hundred thousand civilians. The Tiger and Leopard Cavalry would soon be upon them. Leaning against a grain cart and chewing on dry rations, Zhuge Yi watched the dust rising in the distance. "Boss Cao, I'll help you play this game of chess, but first you have to learn to trust me."
