Pokemon: A Terminally Ill Gardevoir Trains a Girl the Wrong Way

After transmigrating as the Gardevoir Ifa, she starts out with a terminal illness: her body is slowly falling apart, though she still has several years before it completely gives out. She chooses Su Jinlu, a girl from a humble background, and decides to use the time she has left to turn her into a Pokemon Master. By day, she's the nanny: carrying luggage with psychic power, sneaking out for berries in the dead of night, and casually capturing a Pokemon hunter as a show of loyalty. When Changming doubts whether this rookie is up to the task, Ifa shoves it into the mud and grinds it in. "Obey me, or die." Changming backs down and joins her, while Little Lu happily tosses out a Pokeball to catch it. At night, Ifa plays the part of a terminally ill patient: hiding in a corner of the Pokémon Center to inject suppressants, eating with Little Lu as if everything is fine, and secretly counting how many more battles she has left. Little Lu excitedly plans to travel the world after becoming champion. Ifa only replies in her heart, "There may not be enough time, but I'll get you to that position first." Changming overhears her thoughts, its flames flickering. "You won't last more than a few years. Why..." Ifa cuts it off. "Shut up. She deserves it."
