American Comics: Evil Spirit Totem, Becoming a Deadly Spider-Man

Bide Parker transmigrates into dark Marvel, gets bitten by a spider, and dies on the spot. Another soul takes over his body and awakens the Devouring Totem, which devours souls to strengthen the body. He decides to turn New York's underground gangs, murder clubs, and depraved rich men into sources of power.

On his first mission, he infiltrates an underground torture club in Brooklyn. Bound to a chair and waiting to die, he suddenly strikes back the instant his killer raises a chainsaw. The Totem devours the old man's soul, and his strength surges by hundreds of kilograms. The entire underground hideout becomes his hunting ground: he pins Old John against scorching bricks in front of the crematorium, then throws him into the furnace; in the hallway, he crushes the throat of a gunman with one hand; then he shatters the bespectacled man's teeth with a dagger and makes him swallow his own blood. The more he devours, the stronger the Totem grows, and the less he resembles an ordinary Spider-Man.

As he walks out of the underground hideout over a floor strewn with corpses, a one-armed woman follows behind him. "I owe you my life." Bide looks back, as the Spider-Totem slowly crawls across the pupils of his dark eyes.

This is only the beginning. There's plenty more to devour beneath New York, and it's all waiting for me.
