I like pure Cthulhu themes. When I saw this title, I added it to my bookshelf. I clicked on it and read a few chapters and realized something was wrong. When I looked back at the introduction, I realized that I had been deceived. The title of the book is just a tribute to the University of Michigan. The novel itself follows the style of a Japanese light novel, with a frivolous protagonist + a good-for-nothing female student, plus the author's own Western fantasy + micro-kettle background I can only say that if you, like me, add it to your bookshelf because of the name of the University of Michigan, I don't recommend reading it.

Grain- The subject matter is rare (traveling into the world of the original Cthulhu novel, not a pseudo-genre like mystery) and the writing style is good, but the protagonist has a character that is too much to chew on. It's okay to risk your life to save strangers who don't know you. You even managed to escape from serious injuries, but the protagonist's dead child who was throwing stones at the roadside was attacked by a monster, and the protagonist ran back to save it. Apart from making the picture very fragmented, it has no effect at all. It is better to write in a flat and straightforward manner.
