Xingtian

In the ancient age, Huangdi and Yandi ruled heaven and earth. Unable to bear seeing the common people oppressed by a harsh order, the God of War Xingtian abandoned his seclusion and emerged into the world. He stormed the divine court alone, defying heaven and challenging the Dao. He fought his way through the nine heavens, but was defeated by Huangdi, beheaded, and sealed within the Changyang Mountain secret realm. Yet his unyielding battle spirit endured through the ages, silently guarding the secret realm and keeping the laws of heaven and earth in check. The divine court deliberately erased his deeds and concealed the truth of the Heavenly Dao.

As the ages passed, the Heavenly Dao of the present day fell into ruin, spiritual energy grew chaotic, and calamities erupted everywhere. Ancient fiends ran rampant, while the cultivation world decayed and sank into decline. Ling Jin, a cultivator born into poverty, carried the bloodline of Xingtian's incomplete battle spirit. Shunned by others, he nevertheless held fast to the righteous path. When he unexpectedly awakened the power of the battle spirit, he glimpsed the secrets of antiquity. To save the common people and shatter the false Heavenly Dao, he joined forces with fellow cultivators to explore the forbidden lands of Changyang Mountain, braving illusions, breaking seals, and fighting fiends as he gradually uncovered the truth buried for eons: Huangdi had tampered with the Heavenly Dao and slandered the loyal and true.

When forces from the divine court descended to hunt them down, Ling Jin endured life-and-death transformations and fully awakened Xingtian's legacy, comprehending the true Great Dao of the people. At last, he merged with the unyielding battle spirit, shattered the rigid laws of heaven, purged the corrupt forces of the divine court, and brought the false order of the Heavenly Dao to an end. He restored balance and fairness to heaven and earth, giving all living things their freedom and vitality once more, and carrying on Xingtian's timeless spirit of defying fate, staying true to one's heart, and protecting the common people.
