Exiled Immortal!

The Banished Immortal

World Setting:

This is a world where immortals and mortals coexist. The Celestial Court hangs high above the ninth heaven, human dynasties rule the mortal world, and the Netherworld lies hidden in the deepest reaches below. Five hundred years ago, a War of Heavenly Punishment shattered the Immortal Realm, sending countless immortals tumbling into the mortal world as banished immortals. Now the workings of fate are in disarray, and a demonic calamity is drawing near. Some banished immortals lie low among mortals, while others secretly make their plans, all waiting for a chance to return to the Immortal Realm.

Main Plot:

Five hundred years ago, Chu Linyuan, the greatest war god of the Immortal Realm, was cast down to the mortal world for breaking the laws of heaven. He lost his memories and became a destitute scholar. One day, in a ruined ancient temple, he encountered Su Yingxue, an orphan burdened by a mysterious curse, with the ancient immortal artifact known as the Nine Heavens Zither sealed within her. Their meeting was marked by celestial omens, drawing the covetous attention of powerful factions. Ye Wushang, the young master of the demonic cult, secretly sent Hong Ling, a fox demon, and Feng Wuhen, the king of assassins, to track down the Nine Heavens Zither. Meanwhile, Shen Xinghe, master of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion, divined that the artifact held the fate of the Immortal Realm.

As Chu Linyuan gradually regains his memories, he discovers that he is no ordinary banished immortal: he was a pivotal figure in the War of Heavenly Punishment. Meanwhile, Su Yingxue's true identity comes to light. She is the reincarnation of the Immortal Realm's Holy Maiden, and what is sealed inside her is not merely an immortal artifact, but also the truth behind the War of Heavenly Punishment. Ye Wushang intends to use the Nine Heavens Zither to open the gates to the Immortal Realm and free the ancient demons sealed away there. Xiao Yunjin, emperor of the mortal world, and Zhao Ziyan, a princess, meanwhile seek to win Chu Linyuan over to help them fight the demonic cult.
