The Immortal-Slaying Platform

When Pangu cleaved heaven and earth apart, pure energy rose to form the sky, turbid energy sank to form the land, and the force of chaos divided into yin and yang. From these emerged the Six Realms: the Divine Realm, the Human Realm, the Demon Realm, the Devil Realm, the Underworld, and the Buddhist Realm. At first, the six realms coexisted. The ancient gods upheld the order of the Heavenly Dao, while the ancestral spirits of demons and monsters occupied the edges of chaos. Though tensions arose, a fragile balance held. But Chiyou, lord of the Devil Realm, coveted dominion over all six realms. He allied himself with rebel forces that had fled the Underworld and savage fiends from the Demon Realm, then used his own demonic essence to unleash the baleful energy of chaos, igniting a war between immortals and demons that engulfed all six realms.

The war lasted a thousand years, laying waste to the six realms. Haotian, the Jade Emperor of the Divine Realm, led the rulers of the realms, including Fuxi and the Ancient Buddha Ran Deng, in resisting the demonic progenitor Chiyou. With innate spiritual treasures and the laws of the Heavenly Dao, the ancient gods managed to suppress the demon army for a time. But Chiyou had secretly forged a “Soul-Devouring Demon Weapon” capable of consuming the gods' souls and eroding their spiritual power. The final battle took place at the ruins of the Immortal-Slaying Formation high above the Ninth Heaven. Chiyou drew upon the immense baleful energy of the Demon Abyss and transformed the formation platform into a sinister “Immortal-Slaying Platform.” Using his demonic weapon to hold the gods at bay, he cut them down one by one.
