An Unhindered Orbit

The room-temperature superconducting material developed by 39-year-old superconductivity scientist Ye Zeming is deliberately contaminated by Zhou Wenze, a giant in the traditional energy industry, crippling a maglev system and causing a laboratory explosion. Ye leads her team to a desert base to develop adaptive superconducting materials. Along with journalist Chen Enrui and Liang Zongduo, who switches sides, she gathers evidence and overcomes one crisis after another. They submit a case against Zhou Wenze to the disciplinary inspection team. The material passes its tests, and the resistance-free rail line is back in operation.
