I Run Errands for Shu Han's Heroic Spirits

After losing his job, the male protagonist takes a position as a tour guide at Chengdu's Wuhou Shrine. One rainy night, he accidentally awakens the spiritual power of the shrine's Bagua formation, enabling him to connect across time and space with the heroes of Shu Han. But he never expected that these famed ministers and generals, celebrated throughout history, would be far more curious about modern Chengdu than about reviewing the battles of the Three Kingdoms. Zhuge Liang asks him to pick up modern weather-monitoring equipment, research water conservancy projects around the world, and bring him a bowl of sweet-water noodles from a local alley. Guan Yu wants to try every one of Chengdu's viral hot pot restaurants and asks him to find a non-spicy broth. Zhao Yun is engrossed in modern first-aid knowledge and pesters him to update the tutorials every day. Even Liu Bei has become fascinated by Sichuan opera's face-changing art and asks him to find an inheritor of this intangible cultural heritage so he can become a student.

The protagonist serves as the heroes' modern-day personal shopper and Chengdu guide, while drawing on the wisdom he learns from them to solve all kinds of problems at work and in life. He also turns the stories of Shu Han into short videos that young people love, becoming Wuhou Shrine's star tour guide and bringing Three Kingdoms culture to a whole new audience.
