The Ring House Chronicles

In the Jiangnan Ring-House Community in 2070, three generations of ring houses have evolved from the invention of Lu Qinghe in the wake of the 2045 energy crisis: the first generation manually displayed temperature, while the third-generation AI has lost its warmth. Lu Miaoqi, a proponent of coexistence, fights to protect the Qinghe Ring House designed by her grandfather from the demolition and renovation plan of efficiency advocate Shen Mingzhe. With help from Old Zhou, Chen Yue, and the technical expertise of Xia Xiaoxing, she finds a balance between tradition and modernity. In the end, she helps bring about a new ring house built around coexistence, preserving the memories and warmth of home and revealing what home truly means.
