Eleanor was an overworked wage slave so poor she barely had time for entertainment. Then, by sheer accident, she transmigrated to another world. Survival was a steep uphill climb, and getting mugged in New York was perfectly normal. She nearly got beaten up because she didn’t have a single cent on her, but life was full of surprises. Spider-Man rescued her, and somehow, she gradually became friends with this friendly neighborhood New Yorker. Fine, superpowered people are superpowered people, and Spider-Man is Spider-Man. Spider-Man even helps little old ladies cross the street! If she didn’t treat her friendly neighborhood New Yorker nicely, her conscience would keep her up at night! Maybe because things couldn’t get any worse, Eleanor’s life slowly began to improve after that. She found a new job, and she confessed to Peter, her coworker at the pizza shop, her friendly neighborhood New Yorker, and her friend and go-to photographer. And then they actually got together. After all, Peter really was adorable. One day, though, Peter awkwardly told her he had something important to say. Eleanor (nervous): Yeah, yeah, I really do love you, but I think getting married right now might be a little too soon… Peter (nervous): Actually, I’m Spider-Man… Eleanor (shocked): What? Wait, aren’t you two best friends? He even joined me in complaining about how you show up late for dates, disappear for no reason, and are impossible to get ahold of. He said you were awful!
