[Western Crossover] A Fanfic Mage's Second Career After Layoff

In the vast universe of fan fiction, where stars shine bright, there is a certain group.

They usually appear at the beginning or end of short fan fics, created for the sake of shenanigans and given hasty names by irresponsible authors: mages.

I’m one such thoroughly ordinary mage.

Unfortunately, my workplace isn’t exactly a beacon of integrity, and I got censored while working in China.

With the industry in a slump, the fanfic mages went through layoffs. As a mage created by an author with rather low standards, my position got deleted.

To find a job, I crawled around in the shadows. When Superboy-Prime punched a hole through the world barrier, I crawled out of the fanfic universe and into the real world.

Darkseid invaded Earth again.

To prove what I could do, I decided to show off in front of the rich patron I had my eye on.

Nobody wanted to know what kind of magic a mage who’d been deleted could do.

Nobody wanted to know what Darkseid had been through.

Anyway, the crisis passed without a hitch, and the mage proudly went to claim credit from the patron.

The patron smiled on the outside, while inside, they were thinking all sorts of things.

Note: Nonsensical, wild imagination, a work written under the maddening pressure of censorship. The mage is a bottom.
