[Western Crossover] A Detailed Record of Batkid Observations

I have a childhood best friend I grew up with.

Because our parents both changed jobs, my best friend and I transferred to schools in America.

As a Chinese kid who was completely out of the loop, I was shocked to discover that the high school I transferred to was Gotham High.

A man of iron suddenly appears in New York.

A red-trunks-wearing hero appears in Metropolis to save the world.

Mutants rise to prominence.

And that's not all. Every time we go to a bank, it gets robbed. Every time we go to an amusement park, there's an explosion. Villains show up at home, and bullying at school never lets up.

There's only one constant: in the end, some superhero guy in a skintight suit always swoops in to save the day.

My best friend sighs with feeling. "You're a magnet for trouble. I'm the only one who can stick with you."

I look at my best friend, a Chinese-American with plain black hair and blue eyes and an unknown biological father, and fall silent: "..."

Isn't this a little unfair, making me take the blame?

Note: 1. The female lead is a transmigrator and a Batkid's best friend. No golden finger, no System.

2. She has an ordinary face, but there's a tendency toward an everywoman harem-seeker setup. If that's not your thing, run.

3. Limited skill, limited logic. I write whatever comes to mind.

Theme: I was just hungry.
