[Western Crossover] Getting Divorced in Bludhaven

New Jersey divorce law allows divorce on several grounds, one of which is adultery: being unfaithful to one's spouse.

I cheated on Nightwing.

I want a divorce from Richard Grayson.

Three years later, when Joan meets her ex-husband again,

when Bludhaven's richest man meets a broke cop again,

when an all-powerful mob boss meets a vigilante who fights crime and upholds justice again,

she finally realizes that what they called marriage

was nothing more than an absurd joke.

Note: 1. Lots of original lore. Please don't complain about OOC.

2. The female lead is a transmigrator. She's a character who grows over time, a villain in the vein of Lex Luthor, and is hostile toward superheroes.

3. A melodramatic Mr. and Mrs. Smith trope. If that's not your thing, click away.
