After Awakening My Succubus Bloodline on the Casefic Channel

*Primarily Detective Conan

[The purehearted, earnest guy turns into an incubus, throws caution to the wind to change his image, and eventually undoes two buttons on his shirt.]

Kusakabe Miyekawa was shot in the heart while apprehending a criminal.

He thought he'd die just after being promoted to superintendent, but somehow survived. The doctor told him that his heart was unlike other people's: it was on the right side of his chest.

Kusakabe: ?

Doctor, are you saying that none of my medical checkups since elementary school, including the comprehensive examination when I joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, ever detected that my heart was on the right side?

The doctor was just as baffled and could only make a weak attempt at explaining it as a testing error.

Then one night, Kusakabe suddenly felt hot all over, and the top of his head and the base of his spine began to itch faintly.

He didn't think much of it at the time. Firmly believing he simply had too much internal heat, Kusakabe decided to tough it out.

But the next morning, he woke to find a pair of pointed horns on his head and a tail growing from the base of his spine, sensitive and ending in a heart-shaped tip.

Kusakabe: Am I still dreaming?

Once he came to his senses, Kusakabe silently called in sick, then turned around, utterly distraught, and called his parents, who were traveling around the world, over and over.

That's when he learned he had incubus blood.

And that he fed on other people's ■■.

Kusakabe: (green frog screaming.jpg) What the hell? That's so vulgar.

His only consolation was that his bloodline wasn't very pure, so he could live normally without that... thing. At worst, he'd just feel hungry.

The answer put Kusakabe's mind at ease. Then, the next day, when his handsome junior came to hand in a report, Kusakabe caught an overpowering scent of dessert coming from him.

Kusakabe: So, can he just bite the other guy for no reason?

Kenji Hagiwara thinks his taciturn, somewhat rigid and self-disciplined superior has been acting strangely lately, always looking at him with an inscrutable, complicated expression.

Hiromitsu Morofushi, disguised as a bartender, encounters an unusual customer that day. The customer has a pretty face and pink eyes. After casually surveying the room, he furtively orders a glass of orange juice.
