Matsuda's Cooking Livestream

After Officer Matsuda dies, he gets bound to a Culinary God livestream System. After being given a crash course in what 5 - 4 = 0 means, Officer Matsuda resolutely sets out on the path to becoming the God of Cooking, all so he can bring his two fallen friends back to life. Whether it's a walking mushroom sukiyaki or crispy grilled snake-tail chicken, no little maze can stump him. As his cooking improves, all kinds of new ingredients are unlocked. Low-level cursed spirits, tooth-covered tentacles, long-legged mermaids: the mature and steady Officer Matsuda throws them all into the pot. Two completely different rumors circulate in Beika Town, Tokyo. Some people think the bespectacled, curly-haired shopkeeper is a cold-blooded demon who kills without blinking. One person even swears they found a human leg, still twitching, in the kitchen fridge. Others have fallen completely under the spell of the shopkeeper's astonishing cooking and become his devoted fans. Both sides think the other is crazy. * Then one day, the man at the center of the rumors claims the top spot in the poll for Tokyo's Ten Outstanding Citizens, with a vote count that leaves everyone else in the dust. On camera, the curly-haired heartthrob, looking thoroughly annoyed, is forced by his two friends, who have become divine weapons, to hold up a banner and deliver his acceptance speech. When asked what he wished for, Officer Matsuda, long used to his friends watching the show and forced to work overtime until his spatula sparks against the pan, answers without hesitation: "I want to beat the hell out of that blond Superintendent General." * A little bonus scene: The moment Hagiwara opens his eyes after being revived, he sees his childhood friend staring at him with a butcher knife and a sinister grin. Before Hagiwara can ask what's going on, a potato flies straight at him. "Hurry up, we're short on time. Dice this carrot into meat cubes." Hagiwara: ??? Jinpei, wake up. You can't dice a carrot into meat cubes, and this is a potato anyway. But seeing the threatening look on Matsuda's face, Hagiwara silently swallows the words on the tip of his tongue. Still dazed, he is reeling from the news that his childhood friend quit the police to open a restaurant and become a chef. He heads to the kitchen and finds a fellow classmate who had mysteriously lost contact sitting on a little stool, struggling with a huge basket of potatoes. Hagiwara: Stunned and disbelieving.jpg Morofushi: Tired smile, keep living.jpg * Heavily alternate-universe, all five members survive. * Mainly Detective Conan. * Everyday comedy, delightfully absurd and unapologetically wild.
