The core elements are soul-swapping and narcissism, with faux-incest and forced marriage among the other tropes. Sui Heguang is the eldest son of the fabulously wealthy Sui family. He is cold by nature, measured in his actions, and never lets his feelings show. Yushuang is the star of a struggling opera troupe. He was forced to become the Sui family patriarch’s secret lover, and is also harassed by the family’s playboy fourth son. These two unexpectedly swap souls, turning their identities upside down. * One night, shortly before the soul swap. Sui Heguang was taking a walk in his residence when he passed a rock garden and found his fourth brother meeting an actor in secret. The actor’s arm was twisted behind him, his hair disheveled, struggling constantly as his reddened, tearful eyes looked toward Sui Heguang. He was asking for help. “Excuse me,” Sui Heguang said. He had no intention of getting involved in this disgraceful business, nor of exposing them. He only thought they were blocking his way. Three days later, Sui Heguang was gravely injured by bandits. When he opened his eyes again, he had become the actor. The fourth brother, who had once hated Sui Heguang, now pretended to love him and wouldn’t let go. His third brother, who had been distant, stayed by his side constantly, keeping him confined to the residence. But the most troublesome person was, the actor who had swapped bodies with Sui Heguang and resented him for being so cold. Surrounded by wolves.
