After quitting her job, Qiao Li secretly returns to her hometown and hides out at her older brother's place.

But the moment she walks in, she sees Shen Fanxing.

How many years has it been since they last met?

He looks up coolly and raises an eyebrow. "It's been five years. Don't you recognize your ex-boyfriend?"

Oh, it has actually been more than five years.

Ever since that summer night when Qiao Li dumped Shen Fanxing after he came to her university to visit, they hadn't seen each other again.

.

And now they're roommates. It's absurd.

After failing to convince her brother to kick him out, Qiao Li has no choice but to accept that she and Shen Fanxing are living under the same roof.

But that doesn't mean he can just climb into her bed whenever he feels like it, then pretend nothing happened the next day.

Qiao Li bristles. "Shen Fanxing! You were the one who kissed me first last night. If you dare deny it, I'll expose every love letter you wrote me in high school!"

Shen Fanxing says, "Oh."

He crosses his arms, curls his lips into a smile, and asks, "So, Qiao Qiao, should we get back together?"

A little note from youth:

How did seventeen-year-old Qiao Li find out that Shen Fanxing, whom she'd known for sixteen years, liked her?

One time, she went to his house to work on a film class assignment, and the young master fell asleep.

In his sleep, he said her name.

Qiao Li's ears turned red.

By then, she already knew why.

But now, at twenty-nine, does Qiao Li still know how she truly feels?
