Moonlight River

The story inevitably began the moment she stepped into that movie theater at one in the morning.

- From the heroine's perspective:

Could she bear the consequences one more time?

Could she love another idealist?

Could she hold out her sincere heart to someone with wings again?

She couldn't bring herself to clip anyone's wings. So this time, would she fall into this river of moonlight?

Lin Yaoyue didn't know.

- From the hero's perspective:

"Lin Yaoyue, you're not the moon. You're the person I love, the person I want to touch. You're not some pure moon that has to stay up in the sky forever. I want to pull you down. I want to love you."

"I don't want to make you great or turn you into a moon beyond my reach. So from the moment you appeared at the movie theater, I wanted to pull you down. Don't be anyone else's moon. Just be Lin Yaoyue, all right?"

A short story, HE, unrequited love from the hero's side (the story doesn't cover the crush, only what happens after they reunite).

Warning: The heroine has an ex-boyfriend, and part of the story will describe their relationship. Please don't read if that bothers you. Thank you!

Theme: You can heal from heartbreak.
