Campus and city life / Unrequited love comes true / Slow burn / Both virgins / Happy ending
Gentle yet resilient vs. cool and kind
·
"You like him so much. What does it even mean?"
"It doesn't need to mean anything. If I had to say, I just want him to stay high above me forever."
Lin Suisui never expected Li Hao to come to her. As long as she could watch him from afar through the hellish years of high school, that was enough.
·
Lin Suisui sent the person she loved three bouquets of sunflowers.
The first was when she graduated from high school.
The second was for the anniversary celebration at the medical university he attended.
The third was after they got together, on his birthday.
When Li Hao learned the truth, he hurried home.
He tried his best to hold back, but his eyes still reddened. "Suisui, so it was you. It was you all along."
You were the one who found my parents' belongings for me, and you were the one who secretly sent me sunflowers three times.
At last, the person she had loved in secret for so many years found out. At last, she could say those words.
"It was love at first sight for me."
It began, began the day we registered for our first year of high school.
Reader's guide:
1. The romance takes place after the protagonists are adults.
2. Heart-fluttering feelings can absolutely become tangible.
3. An ordinary romance, with no major twists, but a slow burn.
*One-on-one / Happy ending / Both virgins / A sweet, cozy little treat / Mutual healing
*Outwardly a grumpy, resilient office worker, secretly adorable vs. outwardly a cold, sharp-tongued boss, secretly kind and considerate
·
After graduating, Xu Xiang'er landed a happy little job at a small company where she could slack off.
That lasted until a cold-faced boss was parachuted in. From then on, she forgot what it felt like to leave work on time.
One night while working overtime, she suddenly developed a strange ability:
Whenever her emotions ran too high, she turned into a beaver.
After accepting this absurd reality, Xu Xiang'er did her best to keep calm. But her boss, Chen Yi, had a hundred ways to make her lose it.
Try as she might, she couldn't keep it under wraps, and Chen Yi caught her in the middle of transforming.
The beaver blinked its beady eyes and hid a stick behind its back. "Um... actually, you're mentally ill. This is all an illusion."
Chen Yi's expression was cool, his voice utterly even. "Oh, so you don't have pica. I thought you just liked eating sticks."
A beaver can talk. Aren't you scared?
Xu Xiang'er really couldn't relate to a heartless capitalist.
·
Ever since Chen Yi found out she could turn into a beaver, Xu Xiang'er felt as if he had become a different person.
This cold, heartless man repeatedly helped her keep it a secret, and even took her home after she transformed.
The beaver gnawed on a stick, feeling uneasy. "Mr. Chen, just tell me what you want. Beavers are a nationally protected species..."
Chen Yi opened the balcony door and crouched down to talk to her. "I gathered some branches from willow trees, maple trees, and a few others. See which ones you like best."
"?"
Why was he suddenly so considerate? She really couldn't help gnawing on them.
Seeing her earnestly chewing on a branch, Chen Yi's lips curved slightly. "When you're done, revise the proposal one more time. I need it tomorrow morning."
Xu Xiang'er's thanks got stuck in her throat.
Where does a beaver go to report workplace exploitation? The wildlife protection organization?
·
Xu Xiang'er's motto in life: If life is already a mess, you might as well let it be a mess.
So what if she turned into a beaver? At least after a nap, she could go right back to work.
She was starting to get used to it, but Chen Yi couldn't.
The Nth time they kissed, Xu Xiang'er turned into a beaver, and he finally lost his temper.
"Er'er, don't you want to fix this?"
The beaver blinked and thought for a while. "Honestly, I don't mind. I can get a permanent job at the zoo someday."
Chen Yi: ?
Xu Xiang'er might say she didn't care, but she still wanted to fix this absurd situation.
But the more she investigated, the more she discovered that she and Chen Yi had crossed paths long ago...

Reader's guide:
1. This is absolutely not a human-beast romance! Don't worry, my lovely readers.
2. A wild, illogical story by an author losing it, written purely for cuteness and laughs... Though maybe there's a little logic?
3. Heart-fluttering feelings can absolutely become tangible.
4. There is so much arrogance and prejudice in the world. Don't be afraid.
Theme: We all need to live well
I read a lot of campus crush articles, and I accidentally discovered this one on Xiaohongshu. I didn't expect it to be the author himself. This book is really well written and very relatable. Especially when Sui Sui and Li Hao came into contact later, the relationship between the two was just right. I hope the author can work hard and produce new works.
Why did the author give the male protagonist this name? Woohoo, it feels so dramatic, even though I really like the setting of the character.
Okay, the deputy CP is at the wrong station.
After reading it, the author is great. I left a long comment in the rating o[Rose]
I accidentally discovered this article and read it in one sitting. I was very sad when it ended and wanted to keep reading. I like this story very much, and I like Li Hao and Suisui very much. Want to watch it again. Thanks to the author, and I hope more people can see their story.
Seeing this, I can actually tolerate the male protagonist with such a bad name, hahaha, the author's depiction of the male protagonist is so heart-warming
I have read a lot of secret love articles, and I feel that the writing style of this article is quite good, but believe me, the names of the male and female protagonists are really important. If the author takes the trouble to change the male protagonist's name, the number of collections and clicks may increase a lot!
Can you rate it after reading it? Thank you everyone for your support!
Finished spreading flowers, waiting for the text of the quarantined school girl
