.

Dissatisfied with her family, Chen Ta decided to marry Zhou Suzhi, a man she'd only met twice.

Not long after the wedding, she learned that her new husband was the heir to the Zhou Group, and that there was a vast difference in their status and standing.

But one rainy night, Zhou Suzhi said to her, "Chen Ta, if we could have a stable home that stayed together, instead of ending up like our parents, would you want that?"

Chen Ta was moved. "I would."

As it turned out, he really was a model husband.

Gentle and courteous, thoughtful and considerate. Even when she questioned whether their frequency of marital intimacy was reasonable, he listened with an open mind.

They worked well together, were affectionate in public, and got along at home, never crossing each other's boundaries.

But six months into the marriage, everything changed when Zhou Suzhi accidentally overheard Chen Ta talking with a friend.

Friend: "You've been married for six months. Haven't you ever felt your heart flutter?"

Chen Ta: "No. Zhou Suzhi and I are just partners. Our goal is to build a stable home."

But Zhou Suzhi couldn't accept that. He wanted Chen Ta's love.
