I Want to Live on Welfare Every Day

After dying unexpectedly, Chi Xu is reborn in another world as an orphan raised on government welfare. Her original counterpart was also a spendthrift who lived paycheck to paycheck, with not a penny to her name. Chi Xu is understandably nervous, but soon receives both good news and bad news.

The good news: she has awakened a healing ability. People with abilities earn a fortune and are assigned jobs, so now she has money.

The bad news: people with abilities must stand between ordinary people and danger, protecting them. They work year-round and can't retire either :).

This is a world plagued by excessive pollution. I have awakened here by chance, and this must be fate. I will climb higher and higher until I reach the very top.

A little skit:

Question: What if I don't want to work or try hard, and just want to sit around and live off others?

Answer: Join District Seven. The government provides housing, cars, and living expenses, helping every citizen get something for nothing.

Another question: I'm sick of how slowly every agency handles things. Even when something could be resolved in an instant, they drag it out, making me run from one place to another without ever fixing anything. What should I do?

Answer: Join District Twenty-Six. The Golden Ten Minutes: every application and document is handled within ten minutes. If they can't resolve it, the receptionist is fired.
