Wen Jinyue and Zhuang Yinian have a terrible relationship. Her father doesn't care for her, and her mother doesn't love her, while Zhuang Yinian has a happy, loving family. Their happiness is painfully blinding.

Later, when a rare opportunity came along, Wen Jinyue resolutely changed her citizenship and moved abroad. She thought she'd never see Zhuang Yinian again, but one day, the newcomer assigned to her by the research institute turned out to be Zhuang Yinian.

After finally figuring out how the mermaid had been hurt, Wen Jinyue realized that their good intentions had caused harm. To make amends for the damage her organization had done to the mermaid, she gets caught up in a series of problems.

Zhuang Yinian had always known about Wen Jinyue. Her family situation was complicated, so his mother felt sorry for her. She would often bring Wen Jinyue home, buy her things, and take her out to have fun. Young Zhuang Yinian deeply resented this. He didn't want anyone else taking his mother's love away, so he was always picking on Wen Jinyue.

Then he was kidnapped. To save him, Wen Jinyue chose to be kidnapped in his place, and in the end, the two of them escaped together. An inexplicable affection sprang up between them, but Zhuang Yinian's pride made it hard for him to swallow his words. He thought there was plenty of time for him and Wen Jinyue to make up.

But why did Wen Jinyue, who had only just started college, suddenly drop out and move abroad, even changing her citizenship? Would he never see Wen Jinyue again for the rest of his life?

No. Zhuang Yinian couldn't accept that. He had to see Wen Jinyue again.
