Magic Academy: Apprentice Evil God

Character introduction:

My name is Tracy Laitley. You can call me Lacey.

As the title says, I'm a future evil god studying at a magic academy. Actually, that's not quite right. I should say I'm a future insect god.

Yes, you guessed it. I infiltrated Hexwell.

My mother carried me for decades before giving birth to me. There were seven of us in that litter, but I was the only one who made it out. The useless ones became the victor's meal.

That's always been the law of the insect race. As a royal insect, I don't have any special privileges. In fact, in the eyes of the other insects, I'm the most delicious and tempting morsel of all. I don't resent them. It's only natural. They're food to me, too.

I'll stay at Hexwell until I reach maturity and become the new ruler of my kind.

The school's blurb:

Our program is four years long, but we've been unable to graduate for years. That's not our fault. The teachers have the power to veto our grades, after all.

We may drive spears into our classmates' skulls and turn their fingers and eyes into amber and specimens, but we truly love one another.

We may steal, rob, kill, and do every evil under the sun, but Headmistress Rosalind says we're good kids.

We are vessels of corruption, the great rulers of the boundless stars of the future, and candidates for becoming evil gods.

Welcome to Hexwell. You may not learn anything here, but you'll certainly be tormented, body and soul.

A few things to know before reading:

1. The heroine is an insect, but this is not an insect-matriarch story. She won't take part in reproduction!

2. This is part of the same series as the story next door, but there will be no DC characters in this one. This is an original story, while the other one is a derivative work. This story mainly focuses on Hexwell's setting.

3. The heroine from the other story and some original characters will appear. Hexwell has only so many students, so there's no way they won't show up. The heroine from the other story is the school's president, so she's especially certain to appear. And because of her duties as president, she'll have to show up to save Lacey's life when necessary!

Theme: Study! I have to study! (Loses all reason)!
