Gotham's Top Customer Service Rep [Western Crossover]

Blurb:

Jobs are hard to find these days, and jobs in Gotham are even harder to come by.

After pulling some strings through a friend, Elena finally landed a customer service job at a company.

The nerve! She was an 895, 112, after all!

After checking her bank balance, Elena headed to work with profound gratitude.

The company was called something like Wayne Butt (butt).

Not that it mattered. The company provided full social insurance and housing fund benefits, free meals and accommodation, and every now and then she could even sleep in the boss's office.

Coworker: Is that... allowed?

Elena: He told me to go there!

**

Elena diligently memorized the customer service scripts.

"Welcome. How may I help you?"

Bruce: "Did you like the roses today?"

Hang up.

"Buy our products now, and get a free three-year warranty..."

Bruce: "You crushed my chest last night. Miss, does that come with a warranty?"

Hang up.

"We're terribly sorry for your unpleasant experience. We'll continue to work hard to improve, and thank you for your continued support..."

Bruce: "Sweetheart, haven't we been having a good experience together? And about being big..."

Power off.

Bruce received an email.

"What kind of illness is it when the boss is a narcissist?"

"Does this playboy not understand the meaning of a one-night stand?"

"Please don't question the abilities of a gold-medal customer service agent."

"P.S. Heart. I miss you tonight, too. Heart. Wash up and wait for me in bed."

"P.P.S. Stop letting the supervisor find out we're dating!!!!"
