I'll Give You a Three-Hundred-Meter Head Start

[This will be revised later. The characters are complex, so read with care.]

[Quirky, spirited, exceptionally skilled action actress x an investor who seems fragile but is actually a master actor]

Blurb:

After witnessing his parents die a horrible death, Pei Wenyu struggles like a trapped beast in an iron cage. Death approaches, smelling of earth. His tears have long since mingled with the rain as he awaits his final execution...

Then a girl drops from the sky. Talismans flashing with golden flames surround and subdue his attacker, tying the fates of two people who should never have crossed paths.

Chu Yingyue doesn't remember ever saving a boy in the mountains. She follows her father to an old mansion to exorcise demons and uses the blood from her fingertips to draw a spell and stabilize his soul, but he refuses to cooperate, knocking over her cinnabar again and again.

"Keep moving and I'll beat you up!"

Chu Yingyue glares at him fiercely. At last, he relaxes his tightly furrowed brow. The boy looks at her cautiously, as if afraid of doing something wrong, and Chu Yingyue can't help but stroke his pale little cheek.

Chu Yingyue thinks Pei Wenyu has the most beautiful eyes in the world: clear and bright, without a trace of impurity...

Just as she is about to poison him, they transmigrate...

And transmigrate straight into an escape game made by a murderer.

Chu Yingyue hangs the murderer on a wooden door. The soul-binding rope twists his body until it's nearly crushed.

She spits a mouthful of talisman water at him. "Pah! You damn bald freak. Go to hell!"
