Cosplay Transmigration, but I'm a Dual-Gun Batman [Western Crossover]

It's convention season again. My buddy and I have had enough of our special brand of dark humor, like choosing between a crowbar and a blow to the back of the head. We decide to cosplay our original superhero-parent characters and earn some good karma by bringing a little family comedy to all the angst and drama.

Then, at the convention, I see my Batman-cosplaying buddy with two guns at his waist, and we both transmigrate into another world...

The superheroes are watching you!

...So much for our cozy cosplay of original superhero parents bringing warmth and comfort to the heroes. What kind of decent Batman uses two guns?! Buddy, did you accidentally cosplay as Flashpoint Thomas Wayne on purpose?

The world's consciousness tells us it only wanted to ask a great real-world cosplayer to help its beloved superhero kids. It means no harm.

I'm happy to play a caring parent for once. I mean, being called Mom by Superman while in cosplay has to be the peak of life, right?

But my buddy with the two guns is way too easy for the superheroes to misunderstand, and he ends up dragging me into it too!

How many times do we have to say it? Please, superheroes, stop jumping to conclusions. There's no angst, no angst! We really did just want to do a little family comedy in the first place!

Reader's notes:

1. Primarily first person. The protagonist has no romantic pairing, though canon romances between superhero parents will be mentioned.

2. Many original interpretations. The story won't follow the original plot and settings exactly.

3. The blurb may change before the story begins, but the central premise will stay the same.

Theme: Parents are the best!
