Running an Inn in an Infinite-Flow World

Restless newbie top in an unlimited-flow world x easygoing innkeeper bottom who saves people

*

Tang Mu was the first player ever to clear every level in the unlimited-flow world. He beat vicious, bloodthirsty level bosses until they fled in terror, and tore through and cleared S-rank instances that had trapped countless players. His legend spread across the player forums.

But this incredible player, who cleared instances as easily as going home, had lost his memory.

After losing his memory, Tang Mu couldn't recall his past or figure out what he was supposed to do. So when the Creation System asked him to choose a reward for clearing the game, he picked random.

System: [Congratulations, player! You've won the reward "I've Got a House in the Instance"...]

Tang Mu: ?

Once drawn, the reward couldn't be changed. Tang Mu had no choice but to work for the unlimited-flow instances. Luckily, the job was easy. He just had to watch players get chased by bosses until they were bawling for their mothers, then kick the boss away when only one player remained and toss that player through the exit.

He'd thought that was pretty nice.

Until he met Song Xingqiu.

*

Song Xingqiu had been unlucky ever since birth. He'd be walking down the street and somehow trip on flat ground, then somehow a huge truck would appear and somehow send him flying.

And so his inexplicably unlucky life came to an end.

Fortunately, the System gave him a chance to come back to life by clearing unlimited-flow instances.

After spending countless years as a happy couch potato, Song Xingqiu was eager to choose his innate ability. Unfortunately, his finger slipped and he hit random.

System: [You've obtained the ability "Room Service". Now begin your journey through the unlimited-flow world!]

Song Xingqiu: No, wait! What is this?!

*

Other players' abilities could summon wind and rain. Song Xingqiu's ability, on the other hand, was... summoning a person.

Tang Mu, who had no intention of being anyone's summoned beast, stepped on him and knocked him down. The legendary S-rank weapon from the forums patted Song Xingqiu's face and said, half annoyed and half helpless, "How are you about to die again?"

Song Xingqiu struggled. "Bro! Get your foot off me!"

The boss hadn't killed him yet, but Tang Mu was about to crush him to death!

* This is a narcissistic romance, but the top and bottom roles are clearly defined.
