Chi Yuan fell in love at first sight with an NPC in a new event.

Luckily, Chi Yuan had glitched his way in first. He planned to win over this NPC, and once they formed a [Partner] relationship, the other man's Baidu Baike entry would have to be linked to his forever.

Chi Yuan was raring to go. The only problem was that the event village had a level restriction, and his main account, ranked number one on the whole server, couldn't get in.

No problem. He'd just make an alt and have his main account send him supplies!

Lin liked a strange man.

The other man was plain-looking and dressed like a poor beggar. He muttered to himself all day and never looked for a proper job. He was weak, too. Even the neighbor's pig could knock half the life out of him.

But Chi Yuan would spend a day's wages to buy him flowers. He'd take Lin by the hand and secretly bring him outside the village to see the sea. He'd smile brightly and call him "darling."

On a whim, Lin accepted Chi Yuan's proposal.

But just days after the wedding, a crowd of strange people poured into their peaceful village, doing the same odd things Chi Yuan did. Chi Yuan said they were dangerous and told him to wear a mask and, preferably, stay home.

Chi Yuan started sleeping at home all day. No matter how Lin tried to wake him, he wouldn't stir. Only at night would he spend a little time with Lin as he used to.

Just as Lin began to suspect Chi Yuan had grown tired of him, a tall, handsome man knocked on their door. He was carrying a bag of rare treasures, and without even looking at Lin, he set it down at their doorstep.

The same thing happened for several days in a row.

Lin looked at his sleeping husband and all the treasures, growing more and more horrified with every thought.

Could his husband have become that man's kept lover?

Chi Yuan had been playing his main account and fighting a boss when the System suddenly sent him a linked-account notification: [Lin has filed for divorce]

The number-one player on the whole server's face fell. He left in a hurry without even splitting the dungeon rewards, and the entire forum buzzed with speculation about which idiot had provoked him.

Chi Yuan was so frantic that he forgot to switch accounts and rushed straight home. Still smeared with monster blood, he saw Lin holding the body of his alt, tear tracks on his face.

Chi Yuan: !!!

He dashed over. "Who hurt you?!"

[Lin has challenged you to a duel]

Lin glared at him furiously. "I'll give you anything you want."

"Please, just leave my husband alone. I really love him."
