If I Can't See the Light, I'll Look at You [Esports]

[New novel coming soon: The Metaphysical Weapons Master. Please add it to your collection! See the author's page for details.] Luo Chu was once a well-known "pretty face" mid laner on a second-tier team. He was called a pretty face not only because he was handsome, but also because in a meta where mid laners were expected to be utility players, he insisted on dealing damage. He would either become a legend or a disaster. But what Luo Chu was best known for was his relationship with Gong Zhuoyang, the league's number-one jungler. Their relationship was exposed because of a photo of them holding hands, but neither of them ever confirmed it, and they broke up just a few days later. A year later, Luo Chu was signed by HBG, Gong Zhuoyang's team. The team's fans thought HBG had gone crazy. Were they planning to put exes on the same team and have them avoid each other in the Rift? The CP fans were both anxious and heartsick. They wanted to see the two get back together, but were afraid the team wouldn't even make it into the top sixteen. One day, Gong Zhuoyang cornered Luo Chu in the break room and said with a cocky grin, "If you want me to keep you, you have to show me some real skill. Your face alone won't cut it." Luo Chu's cold face showed no emotion as he said, "Isn't my face the very thing you like about me?" Cocky, looks-obsessed top, the jungler x aloof, insecure bottom, the mid laner Reader's notes: 1. Both leads are each other's first love. 1v1, HE. 2. The story follows both the game and the romance. It's mainly told from Luo Chu's perspective as the bottom, with occasional chapters from Gong Zhuoyang's perspective as the top. 3. Game abilities are inspired by existing ones, with some original additions. No need to take them too seriously. 4. The characters are not based on real people. No need to read them as such. 5. The author loves you all. Hope you enjoy reading! [This novel will go VIP on the 24th, Sunday. Thank you for your support!] Theme: Follow the light of your dreams and fight your way to the top
