After the All-Purpose Assistant Became Everyone's Errand Boy

Su Yi, who has worked as a CEO's assistant for five years, dies unexpectedly just as he's about to be promoted to regional head. He wakes up in a power fantasy novel with a male lead, where he has become the lowly underling of the protagonist, Gu Zhixu, and his group of friends.

He's a disposable side character; the world will keep turning without him. Su Yi plans to just give up and do nothing.

On his first night after arriving, he says a few words at Young Master A's pet birthday party and earns a six-figure sum in one evening.

Su Yi: ?

If the money comes this easily, he might as well treat it as a job.

Young Master A, a spoiled rich kid, hires the highly skilled Su Yi as his playmate.

Young Master A slings an arm around Su Yi's shoulders. "Come on, let's have some fun. Play with me."

Su Yi sits in the boss's chair and adjusts his glasses. "I'll play with you once I've finished this report."

He looks up at Young Master A with his light brown eyes. "You know you can't manage without me."

Young Master A is completely hooked.

From then on, Young Master A buckles down and works hard.

Everyone in the capital sees Young Master A's transformation and asks his father for tips on how to raise a son.

Young Master A's father recommends Su Yi to everyone.

The fathers of the other young masters don't believe him, insisting that young people can't be trusted.

Young Master B's father, unable to think of any other options, hires Su Yi as a tutor for his son, who runs wild and is one step away from murder and arson.

Young Master B revs up his motorcycle, ready to tear up the streets. "Get on. Sit behind me."

Su Yi, dressed in riding clothes, sits astride a horse, his long legs gripping its sides. "I haven't practiced riding today."

He wobbles, unable to keep his balance. "Didn't you say you'd teach me to ride?"

Young Master B immediately abandons his motorcycle and goes to teach Su Yi how to ride a horse.

From then on, Young Master B becomes skilled at everything and behaves himself.

Gu Zhixu's father watches his son, who had been sensible for 24 years, suddenly rebel, and is so furious he sends all his brothers and uncles to the Amazon to live as savages.

"You really think I can't control you?"

Gu Zhixu answers bluntly, "You can't. I'll hire someone else to control me."

Su Yi is thriving among the young masters and is about to make his fortune and become a self-made millionaire when the male lead, Gu Zhixu, sets his sights on him.

Gu Zhixu hands him a check.

Su Yi counts the eight zeros and immediately accepts it. "Young Master Gu, don't worry. I'll leave the capital tonight."

Gu Zhixu personally comes to ask his future wife to keep him in line. "I'm hiring you on my father's behalf to discipline me. This is your betrothal gift."

Su Yi: ?

Is this how it's supposed to work?

One day, Young Masters A, B, C, and D argue over which of them Su Yi likes best. None can get the better of the others, so they decide to go to Su Yi's home and demand an answer.

The moment the door opens, they all ask in unison, "Su Yi, who do you like best?"

The person at the door confidently answers without hesitation, "He likes me best."

The young masters stare in shock at Gu Zhixu, who's half-naked and has scratch marks all over his shoulders.

Furious, they shout, "When did you sneak off with our precious cabbage!"

In the middle of the night, one of the young masters calls Su Yi for help, saying he's rescued a kitten that's about to die because there's no milk to feed it.

Su Yi gets out of bed as he answers the call, but the next second, Gu Zhixu grabs him from the bed.

"Where are you going?"

Su Yi: "To save a cat. It has no milk and is about to starve to death."

Gu Zhixu buries his face in Su Yi's stomach and murmurs, "Save me first. I'm about to starve to death, too."

Su Yi: ...

The sharp and savvy bottom who knows how to look after himself x the nontraditional domineering CEO type, with a mischievous streak, who tops.
