[Honkai: Star Rail] The Feasibility of a Seven-Day Weekend

Fan En died suddenly from overwork and was reborn into the Strategic Investment Department, led by the Ten Stonehearts of the Interastral Peace Corporation.

Fan En: What?!

No, please! This seasoned workplace veteran doesn’t want to work. :(

He dutifully played the role of the lowest-ranking laborer in the Strategic Investment Department. To keep his team leader from taking away his performance points, he worked diligently and became Lady Jade’s most prized subordinate.

Then one day, he saw a genius on TV in Penacony proposing the idea of a “Seven-Day Weekend.”

Fan En: If you can make this idea a reality, I’ll resign from Lady Jade’s team right away and come running to you.

But he’d barely seen the man appear on TV when, moments later, he spotted him in the basement of Lady Jade’s shop.

Holding a piece of bread, Fan En looked at him with pity. The guy was obviously a failed villain. :)

He figured the man in front of him might need some comfort.

So he took Sunday’s hand, hanging at his side, and said with pious conviction, “One failure isn’t the end of the world. Let’s join hands and create a world where no one has to work and every week has a seven-day weekend. Long live the Sunday cause!”

Sunday, who had just been rescued by Jade: What?!

Fan En always thought Sunday was just like him: a miserable wage slave whose work-related resentment could resurrect a hundred and eight evil sword immortals.

But when he followed Sunday to Penacony, he learned the truth: Sunday was the former head of Penacony’s Oak Family.

Turns out he was the only real wage slave. :)

Reader’s Guide:

1. Apologies for OOC, apologies for OOC, apologies for OOC.

2. Unflappable on the outside, a wage slave with a thousand sarcastic thoughts on the inside x Sunday.

3. This is self-indulgent. Please don’t flame me if it’s not your thing.
