[Honkai: Star Rail] No Dogs Allowed in Penacony

Next book: The Bet

A seemingly sweet and innocent, lecherous but actually deep-thinking big shot love interest & Dr. Ratio

Kamo Qige hails from the Alpha-79 star system, deep in the universe. He's an elegant, beautiful interstellar hunter with extreme cleanliness.

During another major battle with the insect race, he was gravely injured and, for some inexplicable reason, his genes became unstable. His body turned into a dog. Yes, a husky.

Qige: "..."

His AI held back its laughter and did its best to speak in the most matter-of-fact tone possible. "Esteemed General, your current strength is insufficient to restore you to your original form."

Qige: "...Woof..." Great. Now he can't even speak like a human.

As the saying goes, misfortunes never come singly.

Not only had he turned into a dog, he'd also ended up on a planet he'd never heard of: Penacony.

There, he met Professor Veritas Ratio, a man of great learning who was known among Trailblazers throughout the universe as their "father figure." He was also known as Dr. Ratio.

Lying at this "father figure's" feet, Qige looked at his long, powerful legs, then let his gaze travel higher...

Uh, ahem. He shouldn't look any further.

"Hah. Such a stubborn ailment should be treated by me."

"I understand that fools can't grasp a genius's way of thinking, but surely you're not even inferior to the dog at my feet?"

Kamo "Dog" Qige: "...Woof, woof woof woof..." I understand that you despair of fools who refuse to improve, but surely you wouldn't compare them to a genius like me?

Dr. Ratio: "Please be quiet. Dogs are not allowed to bark on Penacony."

Qige: .

One day, Dr. Ratio and his dog, er, the now-human Qige, were invited to give a speech at the Interastral Peace Corporation.

As soon as they walked in, they heard a chorus of "father figure!"

Host Jimi: "Mr. Qige, is there anything you'd like to say to all the Trailblazers here? Or anything you'd like to share with us?"

Qige: "...I advise all Trailblazers not to casually say, 'I'm xxx's dog.' Otherwise, you really might turn into a dog."

That night, Qige was pinned down by someone in the rest cabin. Oh, he didn't come out all night.

1. Apologies for the OOC, apologies for the OOC, apologies for the OOC.

2. Kamo Qige & Dr. Ratio.

3. The writing is at an elementary-school level. Other than the character settings, anything could change.
