Starting from the Renaissance

"How can we bring lasting peace to this century and close the temple gates of Janus?" The man stood beside him and asked with compassion.

"It will be resolved," Jon replied.

"My friend, if one day you see how it all ends, come and tell me at my grave." Dante leaned against the wall, gasping for breath. "I don't have much time left."

Jon lowered his head and met Dante's blue eyes. "I'll let you see it... right now."

In a wondrous space, Dante saw the pope brought to justice and people's minds beginning to break free. He even heard what future generations thought of him.

"Thank you, my friend."

"My friend, what do you think of this Savonarola's speech?" The boy asked the person beside him as they left the church.

"Very good," Jon said with a smile. "It's an excellent speech."

Time passed.

A middle-aged man watched someone approaching him. They had known each other for more than a decade, yet the other man still looked like a young man.

"My friend, do you think people can really figure things out?"

"They can."

He saw it: "Michelangelo was the greatest sculptor of the Renaissance, and his style influenced artists for nearly three centuries."

This is an age with gods. This is an age without gods.
