Aim, Fire!

As a botany student, Wen Qingchu transmigrated to the interstellar era and bound himself to a System that claimed to have an encyclopedia of plants he'd never seen before.

He rubbed his hands together in secret. Let's see what entries you've got that I've never seen.

After looking through it, Wen Qingchu: Seriously?

Plants in the System's encyclopedia: Peashooter, Sunflower, Wall-nut, Jalapeno...

On his very first day in the interstellar era, he was chased by an interstellar beast and nearly lost his life.

After finally shaking off the beast, he saw that the interstellar guards were being chased too.

Since he'd just been caught in the rain himself, he decided to hold an umbrella over someone else.

"System, is there anything I can do to help them?"

"Host can buy on credit to obtain one Peashooter trial card."

So Wen Qingchu rode an ancient tortoise and unleashed a barrage of shots from the Peashooter.

But before he could enjoy himself for long, the trial card vanished.

"The Peashooter has expired. Host, you're on your own."

Wen Qingchu numbly turned to look at the horde of beasts surging toward him: ...

This was it. He'd tried to hold an umbrella over someone else, only to get himself dragged into it.

The Empire's mechs looked powerful, but couldn't even pierce the beasts' shells.

Inside his mech, Wen Qingchu was vomiting and had diarrhea.

He cursed furiously. What are you people up to? Are you trying to kill me?

With no other choice, he had to do it himself and make do.

He combined plants and mechs, and the first plant-type mech in history was born.

Wen Qingchu went down in history and was revered by millions.

Wen Qingchu, lounging around at home: Is this really what I wanted to do?

A warning up front: This story is abandoned and left unfinished, and there's no telling when I'll get back to it.

Theme: Live happily.
