After I Drunkenly Texted the Wrong Message to My Ex-Boyfriend

A love-struck ex who pretends to be tough x a cute, airheaded beauty bottom (Xie Yi x Yan Yu)

Yan Yu spent eighteen years as a pampered young master with everything going his way, only to suddenly learn that he'd been switched at birth and was the fake young master. He became a stray cat with nowhere to go.

He cut ties with everyone, including the boyfriend he'd been dating for a month.

Three years later, he returns to China with a business partner he recently met. At a party, he unexpectedly runs into his ex, Xie Yi.

Yan Yu doesn't make a big deal of it. He chats when there's someone to talk to and drinks when there's a drink to be had.

Only Xie Yi, in a corner where Yan Yu can't see him, has a fierce look on his face as he crushes his wineglass, wishing he could glare a hole through the "homewrecker" standing beside Yan Yu.

Drunk and overwhelmed by the memories, Yan Yu accidentally sends out a few messages:

[I'm so upset. I still feel like throwing up... They're all awful...]

[Good dog, I miss you. I really wish I could see you soon.]

-

Xie Yi is the one who accidentally receives the messages, and at first he doesn't want to respond.

Hmph. An ex who dumped him three years ago is texting him in the middle of the night for no reason? Three years have passed, and he still doesn't know the meaning of restraint. Trying to come crawling back? Does he think Xie Yi is that cheap?

What a joke.

[What do I care if you're upset? Is your Yi-ge the kind of person you can summon and dismiss at will? Yan Yu, do you still think I'm your dog, always at your beck and call?]

A few minutes pass, and no new message comes in.

Xie Yi panics and sends 99 messages in a row:

[Who bullied you?]

[Why are you upset?]

[Where are you staying now? I'll come find you.]

[Damn it, Yan Yu, answer me!]

The next day, Yan Yu wakes up groggily and sees 99 unread messages: ...

The latest one asks him:

[Woof!]

[Want to get back together? I know it's all part of your scheme. You're just still lusting after my body, right? Fine, I'll reluctantly agree to get back together.]

Yan Yu: !

Yan Yu: Oh no... I think I sent that to the wrong person.

Three years ago, a friend teased Xie Yi for acting like Yan Yu's dog all the time.

Xie Yi, pretending to be tough: Who says I'm acting like his dog? I just think he's a silly guy, so I'm stringing him along.

Three years later.

Xie Yi, love-struck version: What's wrong with being his dog? He's the one who likes dogs.
