Why Do You Say I'm Not a Werewolf?

One full-moon night, I was bitten by a werewolf.

So I got infected and became a ferocious werewolf myself. At night, I went "awoo, awoo," got overwhelmingly excited whenever I saw a sofa or slippers, developed an inexplicable interest in strips of cloth hanging behind a waist, and would chase them around in circles for an hour.

"Are you sure the thing that bit you... really was a werewolf?"

My exhausted friend pulled me away for the twenty-eighth time from a display of fresh meat buns set out on the pet shop shelf, sounding doubtful.

"It wasn't a husky that had become a spirit, was it?"

"...No!"
