How to Turn a Bad Ending Route into a Happy Ending

Blurb: I've recently gotten into a romance-oriented dating sim with a lot of freedom. The plot is exciting, the NPCs react in flexible and varied ways, and you're not restricted to fixed romance options. If a player is willing to stoop low enough, even a dog they pass on the street won't escape the protagonist's clutches. As a chaotic troublemaker who enjoys watching the world burn, I'm especially fond of certain niche bad-ending routes. I even loaded a certain special-interest story mod because I thought the all-ages version wasn't exciting enough... The originally wholesome dating sim veered off in a strange direction, and I had a great time playing through every nutjob's bad-ending route. No particular reason. Watching the protagonist get put through this and that was thrilling and stress-relieving. But perhaps I got what I deserved for deliberately making the protagonist take these wildly upsetting routes. One day, after saving my game as usual, I went to bed feeling pleased with myself, and then something straight out of a horror movie happened. When I opened my eyes, I found that I'd transmigrated into the protagonist of the dating sim, who'd been struggling through a bad-ending route just the night before. In front of me was a pop-up window containing the source of all evil in countless transmigration stories: a System. It sternly explained that I'd transmigrated because I'd deliberately stopped the protagonist from following the proper story and incurred Heaven's wrath. It told me I had to personally clear every bad-ending route and reach a non-bad ending before I could leave this utterly ridiculous world. Thinking about the n number of wildly upsetting bad-ending routes I'd activated... I looked up at the sky and thought, maybe I should just give in to those nutjobs from the start. The emotional back-and-forth in the bad-ending routes is extremely bad for the protagonist's mental and physical health, and even their personal safety isn't guaranteed. But as a master of dating-sim bad endings, as long as I surrendered fast enough, getting a fairly reasonable true ending out of a bad ending wouldn't be much of a problem for me. It's just a dating sim. As long as I get an ending, that's enough. I don't have to get a happy ending. There are actually quite a few true endings hidden in the bad-ending routes. However, just as this fairly optimistic thought crossed my mind, the game System suddenly flashed a red warning. [Warning! Warning! An unknown harmonious will from a green great universe has been detected. Host, ensure that you clear the game with a happy ending! True endings and bad endings alike will revoke your permission to leave this world!!!] Me: "..." How am I supposed to get a happy ending when all the ridiculous side routes lead to true endings and bad endings? Why don't you just kill me instead? Note*: The protagonist pulls a lot of outrageous moves, really a lot. Getting a happy ending at the last moment of a bad ending takes some serious skill. There will be romance and breakups. Pure-love fans, beware. The protagonist is extremely goal-oriented, a real scumbag with no conscience. Theme: Survive desperate circumstances and turn the tables against all odds
