Crossover: Born with a Handsome Face

Blurb: I’m an ordinary citizen living in the harmonious, friendly city of Yokohama. I don’t have many relatives, just a sweet, rather clueless older cousin who married young and attends some no-name technical college in Tokyo. Yokohama is blessed with outstanding people and beautiful scenery, and everyone here talks so nicely. I love it here. My only problem is that my troublemaking friend is way too obsessed with searching for life’s meaning. I’m always getting calls in the middle of class telling me to go retrieve him from the riverbank, the rooftop, or the hospital. By the way, maybe troublemaking friends grow to look more alike over time, because I feel like mine has been looking more and more like me lately. “Look on the bright side. This is a good thing,” I comforted my friend. “Doesn’t it prove you’re getting more handsome?” What’s so bad about looking more and more like me? I’m a girl with broad shoulders, a slim waist, a handsome face, and long legs... Troublemaking friend: “...” Excerpt 1: “Dazai, I think the dress in that clothing store’s display window is so pretty. I want to, ” “No, you don’t. At least, I don’t want to see my face in a dress.” “...” Excerpt 2: “Dazai, my cousin says there are pandas at his school. I want to go see them.” “You believe they keep pandas at a school?” “I don’t, but what if they do? I want to go see.” Excerpt 3: “...Yuki, why are you coming out of the changing room?” “Isn’t it normal to go to a changing room to change clothes?” “But this is the men’s changing room?!” “But, Cousin, I’d get kicked out if I went into the women’s changing room.” “Uh, that’s true, I suppose...” Excerpt 4: “Yuki, I still think you should be careful about certain things... No matter what, going into the men’s changing room is a bit...” “You’re making a big deal out of nothing, Cousin. Nobody can tell. Dazai even said my upper body looks more masculine than his. Wait, Cousin, why did you suddenly get such a scary look on your face? Cousin?! Rika! Cousin?! Why did you suddenly let Rika out?!!” The protagonist’s name is Aomori Yuki. The Japanese pronunciation of “Yuki” sounds similar to “Yuuki,” giving the name a subtle sense of ambiguity when addressed as Yuki, as it can be used for both men and women. Their face looks a lot like Dazai’s, but they aren’t identical. The resemblance is purely accidental. They’re a relative of the pure-love warrior. Their combat ability is no joke. After all, it’s common knowledge that anyone who calls themselves an ordinary person is actually a big shot, right? [Please be sure to read these content warnings:] 1. I know my tastes are unusual, so let me say this upfront: the protagonist is female but looks male. Some readers should proceed with caution. I just like the whole “he’s actually a woman” thing. “Husband” is just a certain kind of vibe. 2. The protagonist has little sense of gender identity, and is very, very vague about gender-related taboos. Casually walking into the men’s changing room is routine for them. Readers who care about boundaries between men and women should also proceed with caution. 3. The cover uses a purchased design template, so any overlap is normal. 4. I haven’t decided whether there will be a romance plot. I’m wavering between multiple pairings and no CP, and may change my mind. I’ll decide before I start posting. Theme: Just how close are my troublemaking friend and I? Close enough to share a face
