She never dreamed her construction engineering degree, which she’d thought was only good for a comfortable retirement, would get a second wind. In Tokyo, she ran into her old underclassman again. Villain? And who’s Itadori? She was noisy, but the meal had a lovely voice. She sounded nice when she sang, even if she was a little tone-deaf. She talked a lot, but listening to her didn’t irritate him. Uraume suggested, “Why not cut out her voice and turn it into a cursed tool to keep with you? Then she won’t disturb your rest, Lord Sukuna.” “No need.” Sukuna gripped Chiri’s face. As she stared at him in terror, he casually pushed a finger into her mouth. “Hearing her cry with such genuine feeling is much more pleasant.” Just as he was about to keep his meal by his side for the rest of her life, Chiri disappeared.
