How Can a Chuunibyo Gamer Save the World? Just Watch the VCR!

[The unrestricted paragraph comments are open. I'm very, very, very excited to hear what you all think! ★v★] This is an atypical watch-along story. The content being watched is original. Some viewers are written in third person, while the watched content is in first person. [To banish Nia completely, [Cang Zhiya] awakened me. In exchange, his own will would gradually be erased, and the time, space, and every trace of his existence would vanish completely. The one known as Cang Zhiya would cease to exist.] [I have decided to invite those who left traces in his memories to this viewing session. Together, you will revisit this story through Cang Zhiya's memories and form a complete understanding of [Cang Zhiya]. I need your wills to serve as anchors for his existence.] [There is no need to worry. This place is the space of all spaces, and the time of all time. When the viewing is over, I will send you back to the corresponding point in time and space from which you came.] [You may talk here, but violence is forbidden. Please understand that you have no right to refuse. Now, the viewing begins.] The bewildered crowd, brought through the door by an ancient immortal: “...Wait, who exactly is Cang Zhiya?!” * [I died, then came back to life. After being reborn, I discovered that my trusted childhood friend, as weak, helpless, innocent, and kind as a rabbit, had been lying to me all along! The company he inherited wasn't some seafood business called Vongola at all. It was the Vongola family!] The audience: “Weak, helpless, innocent, and kind... Pfft! A Vongola seafood business... Pfft!” The Vongola boss covers his face with his hand. [I died, then came back to life. After being reborn, I discovered that one of my closest friends was a remnant of despair, and the boss of the Port Mafia, no less. He was determined to invite me to die with him!] The audience: “...A lover's suicide?” The Port Mafia boss pretends not to notice and whistles. [I died, then came back to life. After being reborn, I discovered that the school of magic (curses) I'd admired since childhood actually existed! But the white-haired teacher got sealed right after his flashy entrance, and I was so disappointed!] The audience: “Hahahahahahahahahaha, what a loser!” The white-haired teacher's perfect mask cracks: “...Impossible. Absolutely impossible!!!” * Cang Zhiya, finally successfully revived, looks bewildered: “Wasn't I supposed to be gone?” Everyone, smiling falsely: “Congratulations! After watching your memories, we now know about your heroic feat of saving the world!” Cang Zhiya: “???!!!” (stunned, screaming, mortified, ready to die) Everyone: “...Hey, don't die!!!” We don't want to save you (and watch you die of embarrassment) all over again! The blurb is rather long and somewhat misleading (?), so here's a more serious one to avoid giving the wrong impression: This is a story that belongs only to Cang Zhiya. A story about someone who willingly gives up himself to save the world, then is forgotten by the entire world But the world may forget you. Your friends won't. Even without their memories, they will remember you with their souls. Even if you give up on yourself, they will do whatever it takes to pull you back into the world of the living. And that is another story, one that does not belong to Cang Zhiya alone. Reader's guide: * The content being watched is original, original, original! Also, this is my take on Lovecraftian horror, with lots of headcanon. * No romance, all characters are friends. Feel free to ship whoever you like as long as you don't fight about it (I'm a shameless omnivore). * The blurb may look lighthearted, but the main story is probably, maybe, possibly rather angsty. Still, trust me, it's all for a happy ending! Completed spin-off: “Welcome to Hallownest” Upcoming story: “When the Protagonist Turns Evil and Decides to Rule the World” Hanyu Yi is the child of the world, the sole protagonist of this world, and the one in whom the world's will has placed its greatest hopes. The world's will believes that Heaven will place great responsibilities on those it chooses, so it tests their resolve, exhausts their bodies, starves them, leaves them destitute, and frustrates their every endeavor, thereby strengthening their hearts and building their resilience. At last, after countless trials, he reached the pinnacle of his life. However, instead of devoting his life to world peace as the world's will had hoped, Hanyu Yi chose to, rule the world. The world's will suffered a spectacular failure and hurriedly called on other worlds for help: Wanted: heroes to save the world! Wanted: heroes to save the world! Please lend us one of your world's protagonists to help us out! Compensation provided!!! And so, protagonists from every direction were thrown by their respective world's wills into an unfamiliar world. A Savior System appeared in their minds, informing them that they could only go home after successfully saving the world, and that the ultimate savior would have one wish granted without conditions. A dimension-hopping protagonist, an all-embracing protagonist, a sincere weretiger protagonist, an energetic sorcery protagonist... They take turns trying to challenge, persuade, and reform him... Hanyu Yi, expressionless: “I've turned evil. Don't @ me.” * They thought they would see a world in ruins, but instead found it peaceful and beautiful, with a crime rate of zero. They expected to see an arrogant, evil villain, but all they saw was a boy with weary eyes who could barely hide his exhaustion. The more missions the protagonists do, the more they sweat Oh no. What if we're actually the villains? * The protagonists summon their friends and relatives and use every trick they have. In the end, they even have to put their own wishes aside for the time being and work together on the mission. But progress on the task of saving the world remains stuck. Then they trace things back to the source and uncover the reason Hanyu Yi turned evil. “The world gave him everything, except for one thing: love.” The System suddenly understands and issues a new task. [New Main Quest: Find this world's heroine and bring the two of them together, so that the child of the world can embrace the beauty of love.] Everyone: “...That's not the kind of love we mean! And what good is it to close the stable door after the horse has bolted?!” The System declares confidently: [Don't worry, Host. The System has already prepared a heroine for the child of the world!] Hanyu Yi sneers: I know. But I don't need a heroine as a reward for growing up, and no one's purpose in life should be just to love me. That wouldn't be fair to her. So I've already decided I won't fall in love with any woman. The snarky, all-embracing protagonist is shocked: “Does he mean what I think he means...?” The snarky weretiger protagonist says gravely: “That's right, System. Your child of the world is gay!” System: [Aaaaaaaaaaaa￥@&* (%@￥#&*#!] But the final snarky protagonist, Qishen, falls silent: ...Whatever happens, I absolutely must not let them find out that Hanyu Yi's favorability toward me has already reached 38095! An atypical ensemble cast story (probably) It should be obvious, but this is a crossover with The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Bungo Stray Dogs, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Pairing with Qishen! Theme: No story will ever be forgotten
