Now, on the surface, he's an outside contractor for the Black Organization. As a seasoned old hand still on the job, he spends his days clutching Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and sobbing over his favorite ships, making him the number-one Himmel x Frieren fan. To make sure Himmel and Frieren could be together forever, Levi seized power and became the Boss. He poured his entire fortune into researching APTX-4869 and ended up so broke he could barely scrape together the money for toilet paper. Every so often, he had to beg his partner Rye to spare him some. Rye was completely baffled. "Why do you go through paper so quickly?" Levi wrapped his arms around his waist and loudly chanted, "For the sake of a love that deserves to be sung about!" Rye: ...? However, the finished APTX-4869 had a fatal flaw. To prevent the Hero's death before the news of Himmel's passing reached him, Levi studied the formula and discovered that Sukuna's fingers, in an inactivated form, could counteract the poison. And so, the Black Organization lost one lazy Boss. The Jujutsu world gained a Grade 4 sorcerer "determined to create a world without cursed spirits." Victim Sukuna had this to say: Get this magic-using otaku away from me! He's going to wipe us all out! Before he knew it, the Black Organization's lazy Boss had become a savior of the world. When the Demon King heard the news, he calmly turned a page of his manga and collapsed into his partner Rye's arms, crying over Himmel and Frieren's beautiful love. The only thing was, the completely shameless Levi thought Akai was getting stranger and stranger. He would kiss away his tears, cook delicious meals for him, go to conventions with him, and even say things that betrayed the organization: "I've applied for witness protection for you.
