After the Game Became Reality

[Up front: This is a Sakamoto Days and WW crossover fic. See the reading guide below the blurb for details.]

[The plot drove me away from the series. Sigh.]

Brief blurb:

Just because I played a game called Sakamoto Days, my ordinary daily life was turned upside down overnight:

Strangers on the street called me by name and tried to kill me,

I was inexplicably put up as a target on the dark web,

I accidentally learned of my glorious legend while chatting with online friends,

And a whole bunch of people were devastated by "my" death and couldn't get over it...

So why did the game suddenly become real life?!

But as my life grew more and more chaotic, my closest friends from the game, whose bonds and affection I had maxed out, also started showing up at my door one after another, pushing my daily life into even greater chaos...

Otome-oriented, with romanceable characters of any gender (female characters are friends by default in the main story). WW characters are all friends, with no romantic storylines.

Romance-focused, mostly sweet fluff and affectionate moments, with no clear main plot.

The story assumes Leon's death has been averted. Some details differ from the original, and I'll revise it as the manga updates. The tone is light and everyday, so it should be easy to get into. If you're interested, try reading a sample.

The main story is in first person, though it may switch between first and third person, so beware. It's not completely one-on-one, and I'll put some content warnings in the author's notes.

As usual, don't stir up trouble in other authors' comment sections, and don't take the tags out of context and post them on other platforms. Let's enjoy this in our own little circle.

All character illustrations in this story are commissioned. Please don't repost them.

I write whenever I feel like it and treasure every comment. There's no fixed update schedule, so please leave comments! No comments, no motivation.

Thesis: Change reality through your own efforts, with your feet on the ground, and welcome a brighter future.
