Cursed Pet Shop

Uchikura Rio is an unremarkable pet shop owner. A little socially withdrawn, he has hired just one shop assistant, whose surname is Saiki.

One day, a cat with long, snowy-white fur and beautiful blue eyes appears at his door, oddly wearing a tiny pair of sunglasses.

Uchikura Rio is overjoyed. "A Maine Coon has fallen from the sky!!!"

Maine Coons are really expensive, and his shabby little shop has never had a cat this magnificent. Treating it like a priceless treasure, Uchikura Rio makes it the shop's prized mascot and looks after it with great care.

After that cat arrives, though, all kinds of little animals start showing up at his door.

Dogs, foxes, rabbits... even a little tiger!

As Uchikura Rio pets his prized mascot, he falls into a long, thoughtful silence. Could something be wrong with the feng shui of his shop?

The Maine Coon, whom Uchikura Rio named Wumi, grows more and more spoiled. One day, it suddenly transforms into a handsome, white-haired man, nearly six feet three inches tall.

The handsome man lounges in the sun and complains, "That box of yokan in the fridge wasn't sweet at all. Rio really doesn't know how to shop... Sigh, I took a bite and put it right back."

Uchikura Rio: "..."

Question: Should I be shocked that my cat turned into a person, or should I grab a slipper and charge over to smack him?

The CP is Wumi. I want to try writing a cheerful, lighthearted, sweet little story.

Theme: Love is more than a curse.
