The Demon Lord Wants to Run Away from Home Again Today

Lian Shengyin is a pure-blooded Demon Lord, through and through.

He'll send a demoness under his command to seduce the chief disciple of the righteous sect, hoping to disrupt his cultivation and destroy the sect's future strength. He'll also summon his underlings to meetings to discuss how to stir up trouble and unleash chaos.

But he often feels like his subordinates aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

His Grand Protector is a vicious-tongued sort who can't tell friend from foe and attacks him even more harshly than everyone else. He can put up with that.

He can even tolerate his disciples running wild and holding a dance party in the Demon Palace in the middle of the night.

That is, until one day, after the Grand Protector has just finished spitting venom at him, the Demon Lord sees the demoness hurry back to the palace. She lowers her eyes shyly and tells him, with a smile like a perfect, dutiful wife, that she and her mission target are about to hold a bond-forming ceremony. From now on, they'll be one, sharing everything and keeping no distance between them.

Grand Protector: Great! See that, Lord Demon? That's what happens when you feed a bun to a dog. It never comes back.

Lian Shengyin: I can't stand living in this Demon Palace for another second.

I'm tired. Let's destroy it.

He's running away from home today!!!
