The Death of a Summer Cicada

Ruan Yu's older sister was murdered, and she suspected that a doctor was responsible.

But the day after she tracked down the doctor, he mysteriously disappeared.

The police discovered that the two of them had met, so they came to question Ruan Yu.

Ruan Yu shook her head, saying she had no idea what had happened.

After the questioning, Ruan Yu returned home. She went into the bedroom and opened the wardrobe. Beneath a few thick coats lay a man's face.

His mouth was sealed with clear tape, and his hands and feet were tightly bound. Only his eyes were still free to move.

Ruan Yu smiled at him and brought her glass of water close.

"Dr. Shen, if you're thirsty, blink."
